The SWIFT MT202 format specifications you find on the table below contains the fields that are found in the Block 4 or Text block of a SWIFT message. So it is only part of the information that is exchanged between senders and receivers over the SWIFT network. Here is the link to the whole structure of a SWIFT message (Blocks 1 to 5).

The MT202 Cov format specifications is provided in this page.
The main difference between MT202 and MT202 COV is that the MT202 COV contains underlying Customer Credit Transfer Details in the sequence B. It was introduced in november 2009 to provide more the transparency about the parties (financial and non-financial institutions) involved in the payments. All parties identified in MT202 (and so MT202 COV sequence A) messages must be financial institutions. MT202 COV is used only to move funds related to an underlying customer credit transfer that was sent with the cover method.
